Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Anthony.
Vincent, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m originally from Maryland but raised in many different places. I spend a lot of time in Pennsylvania. I graduated from High School (Columbia Jr./Sr, High School) and college (Lincoln University) in Pennsylvania. I’m the product of a true teenage love affair. I am the second of two (one sister) and a baby boy on my mothers and the middle child with one older and younger sister on my father’s side. I’ve been on my own since about 14 years old. So the Nomad stamp that I’ve given myself stems from that. In college, I became a Brother of one of the greatest Fraternities in the world, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. A few years later, I became a Prince Hall Mason.
When it comes in the entertainment side of it, it feels like I have been doing it my whole life. I can recall a JC Penny Campaign I did when I was younger. I had to have been no older than 9 or 10 years old. I remember watching the TV, knowing that I would see myself on it one day. I’ve been published as a model in a few magazines. When it comes to dancing, I have been dancing as long as I can remember. For the earlier part of my dance career, I was self-taught. I would watch videos on BET and MTV and learn the choreography bit by bit to learn as much as I could. In middle school, I help found the high school dance team (Aberdeen High School Dance Team) under the direction of Amy Pentz (Ferrigno). Been apart of a few different dance crew Ante’ Up, MoZaik and Jungle Boogie Crew. I’ve worked as a professional dancer for the last 17 years performing in Movies, TV shows, Concert and Commercial. When it comes to acting, I have been in Short Film, Web Series, Theater, National Television, Commercials and Film. I’ve been trained by Victor Love in the Chubbuck Technique and Improvisation by Grant Williams. Currently, I am working as a Dancer, Actor, Model, Business Owner and Founder of a Non-Profit.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, the road was not smooth. Nothing in life worth having comes easy. I heard many No’s, trying something new, adjust your approach, etc. However, I’ve learned that sometimes you have to phase out negativity and focus on your end goal. Most people won’t understand your vision, even if they have traveled that path that you aspire to. I have struggled image-wise, second-guessed my talents and confirming to the box that the industry or they gate keepers wants you to fit into. Just have tunnel vision and attack your dreams at 100 mph.
We’d love to hear more about your organization.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t contribute to the success of anything in life to good or bad luck. I honestly believe that the universe provides what and who you need in order to be successful. I have been very blessed in this aspect. Mentors, colleagues and peers that believe and push me to be as great as I can.
