Today we’d like to introduce you to Toccara Samuel.
Hi Toccara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My love for skincare began in 2003 when I obtained my first job as a beauty consultant for Beauty On The Go, owned and operated by Jeanette Breeland in my hometown of Aiken SC. From that point, I began to research skincare methods, makeup applications and so much more. Five years ago, I attended Esthetics school to obtain an Estheticians License. Once this license was obtained, I owned and operated a spa suite and created my product line, Exceptional Creations with Toccara. My product line stems from my personal battle with hair loss, problematic skin and other health issues. I developed five original products, one being the Hair Growth Oil and I currently have 60 products available and 200 that I have developed.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road but it has been worth every moment of the journey. Some of the struggles were: balancing going to school full-time while working full time, getting the recognition needed to expand further, as well as obtaining financial support.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a licensed Esthetician, CEO and Creator of Exceptional Creations with Toccara. I specialize in and formulate all-natural products for the entire body. I’m also a Motivational Speaker, Mental Health Awareness Advocate, Suicide Prevention Advocate and a Wellness Advocate. I am known most for my authenticity and transparency. I am most proud of my Product Line and the fact that I planned, created and produced a business that is assisting thousands on their journey to wellness. I am also proud of my Hair Growth Oil and how it is changing so many lives for the better. The fact that I am Intentionally Inclusive sets me apart from others.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I like that there is variety of places to visit. I dislike the traffic.
