Community Highlights: Meet Catara Lane of CLXContent

Today we’d like to introduce you to Catara Lane.

Hi Catara, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Always being a busy bee from creating magazines to making documentaries Catara has always had aspirations of creating her own path and telling stories. With a strong background in media production and Majoring in film and media arts at Temple University, she decided to try the entrepreneurship route and create a Content agency where she could help small business owners. Catara’s experiences include helping numerous nonprofits with social media content, interning at an online magazine company, and being the sole documentary feature in woman’s fest film festival in 2021. Catara did all this while also being a full-time student and having a part-time job where she was a scrabble coach and taught photography and film to elementary students in the summer.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say it’s been an emotional road. Being so young, I often ask myself tons of questions like “Am I doing the right thing” or “Is this what I really want to do” But I usually put my anxious energy to work and it helps push me through. I also really love what I do and have a great support system.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about CLXContent?

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory was spending time over my grandfather’s house because it was away from the city in New Jersey.
