Today we’d like to introduce you to Que Harper.
Que resides in Georgia, where his spends a lot of time with his family; being of service to the community at the inexperienced age of 13, he became very acquainted with what many know as the “street life.” He quickly learned the dramas and realities this demanding lifestyle offered, such as gangs, crime, sex, money, women, drugs, violence and so-called friends. In living this altering life, Que experienced many violent challenging ordeals, including robbery, being robbed, beaten, and kidnapped, selling drugs, using drugs, being in and out of the jail system and being charged with murders, and not to mention having a near-death experience at the age of 18 being shot at a close range with a 12 gauge shotgun by someone he considered a friend. Although Que was in disbelief with what happened to him, he stayed strong and positive and compelled himself with the disappointing news given to him by doctors stating he sustained a permanent nerve injury to his leg.
Que had amazing supporters and prayer warriors along with his own strong spiritual beliefs, his strong will and determination to overcome life obstacles. Que was extremely positive and determined that his faith in God would overturn everything the doctors said and so it was. Que also overcame the adversities in his life. By the end of 2004, Que was determined to make all of his dreams, visions and thoughts become a reality, which is when he created his company Que’s Venues, Que TV Multimedia and Youth Organization Project Keep’em Off The Streets. Although many knocks went unanswered, this entrepreneur was not allowing dictators to stop his success. Mentally a brainstorm was raging and Que was given a second look and became eager to take advantage by adapting his mind on positive. Que’s new lease on life started by participating in community service, feeding the hungry, being a youth advocate, coordinator, counselor, poet, author and musician. Today, Que has accomplished many of his goals, including his company Que’s Venues and his Youth Organization, Project Keep’em Off The Streets. Since 2007 Que has served as the liaison where he directs all investments and has hosted many events from entertainment productions, coordinating events, youth advocacy (including prevention and intervention), and also adolescent and adult
