Today we’d like to introduce you to Emma Satterfield.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I take a lot of pride in my ability to make people feel good about themselves when they see a portrait that I’ve taken of them. Creating something beautiful or capturing a moment of someone’s life for them to look back on is one of my favorite things about the job. I thrive in natural light, I know how to get creative with angles and I’m a damn good editor. My photography makes people happy and is a great way for me to easily see my own creative improvements.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m currently writing an episodic mini-series. I’m on my second draft. I don’t want to give too much away just in case things don’t pan out, but it’s adapted from a lgbt+ comic series that had a big impact on me as a kid and is very near to my heart. I have high hopes that it could really help steer my film career in the right direction.
