Hi La’Tiffany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2013 I began bartending at a local bar in downtown Birmingham, Al. They eventually closed down, and I did not bartend again until 2017 while also working a full-time corporate job. I decided that I wanted to learn more about the craft because it was very exciting and engaging, so I enrolled in bartending school, where I became a certified mixologist. After working a few local bars and event centers, I had a close friend ask if I could bartend her son’s birthday party. Without a second thought, I said sure! While bartending his party, I had several people inquire about upcoming events that they were planning and asked would I be available. After that night, the idea hit me hard to start my own business and in 2018, the vision for Tippsy’s Galore Bartending Service was created.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The pandemic in 2020 has been the biggest obstacle so far. Just when I felt my business was about to hit its peak, everything shut down, and events were canceled. During that downtime I was able to use that time to come up with new fresh ideas for my business. I know there will be roadblocks throughout my business journey but the excitement of what it can be keeps me pushing!

We are different from the other because we genuinely love what we do. Each event we gain friends forever from the impact we made from engaging with each guest at an event. We love to put that smile on their face. I am most proud that my brand was created from me just doing something for fun and it turned into a whole business.
