Check Out Ellice Darien’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ellice Darien.

Hi Ellice, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started creating bath and body products because a friend of mine had cancer that started in 2003 in New York; we grew and that is where we had a salon. In Virginia, we have had spas and retail stores. In 2016, we became an online business only. In 2019, we added skincare and in 2020, we added makeup and a second location in SW ATLANTA.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely Not. It is not a journey for the weak. It has been a acknowledgment of weakness and strength. And since I wanted to gear out products to mature women. It made it harder. Mainstream wants to put us on the back burner make us invisible, and I want to shout from the rooftop this is our season. And funding our growth. Overcoming the fact that we are a minority indie brand… the list goes on and on, but I love it.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We create skincare and makeup for mature women. I like to say I’m creating a culture that older women are HOT. And want it all because we give our all. We also have teas and fragrance and the elegance that I’m very proud of I think it’s that feeling of transparency and honesty we need and that our products are made by women for women here in the US.
