Today we’d like to introduce you to LaToya Green.
Hi LaToya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is LaToya Green, also known as Model London. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Achieving success as a well Fashion Model was no walk in the park for me. I’ve worked incredibly hard to perfect my modeling style, developing a genuine and unique persona both in front of and behind the camera. Always eager for new opportunities to diversify an already impressive portfolio, I am constantly seeking to work with new clients and photographers. I’ve traveled to many states for different opportunities. I’ve worked in New York for the majority of my career but wanted more. I’ve heard a lot of No’s, but it just made me go even hard because I refused to give up. 2020 have been an eye-opener for me to really go after my dreams, so I’ve decided to pack all my stuff and just leave Philadelphia and move to Atlanta. January 2021, I’ve moved into my place with a plan and a goal and been working on TV shows, Movies and signed my modeling and acting contract with a well-known agency here in Atlanta. Life been great since and I couldn’t be more grateful and blessed.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ll be lying if I said it was a smooth road because it was not. I’ve heard so many No’s before I got that one yes. Trying to find people in the industry who I thought had the experience to teach and help me only left me to be scammed out of time and money.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a full-time model and actress. I went from working a 9-5 to living my dream. I am most proud that I actually stepped out of my comfort and took that extra step to follow my passion.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck. I do believe that things happen for a reason. When something doesn’t go my way or I don’t get picked for a job, I just look at it as it just wasn’t my timing and something else is coming. When I do get everything that I’m going after, I just thank god
