Hi Natasha, so great to have you join us again. For folks who might have missed our earlier conversations, can you please take a minute to briefly introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Natasha Aladin, owner of Natasha Couture Fashion, a boutique located in Atlanta, GA. I’ve had an ongoing love affair with fashion for as long as I can remember. Ten years ago, I decided to follow my dreams and open my own boutique. The past ten years have been fun, challenging and extremely rewarding. I absolutely love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
What are your responsibilities as the business owner?
My duties and responsibilities as a business owner include selecting and purchasing the inventory, boutique layout and displays, ensuring customer satisfaction and social media content management. Owning your own business can be an exciting and fulfilling adventure, but it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. It requires a lot of hard work and determination, as you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Never Give Up! Work hard, be passionate about what you do, don’t get discouraged with failure, and watch your hard work pay off over time. It’s inevitable that you will experience failure, but it’s important not to quit. Success will come but you’ll need to be able to weather the storms that come along the way.
What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?
The best part of being an entrepreneur is doing what you love. Life as an entrepreneur is a constant roller coaster and if you love what you do, it’s a really fun ride full of new adventures. I wake up every day with an enthusiasm towards the day, as there is no satisfaction quite like there is in growing a successful business.
How do you build a successful customer base?
I believe in order for any business to have a successful customer base, you must make customer service a priority. What sets us apart is the personal attention we strive to give to each and every client. They’re a part of our extended Natasha Couture Fashion family. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to build great relationships with a lot of my clients and I truly cherish these friendships. With continued support from our loyal client base, I’m looking forward to doing this for many years to come.
