We’re so pumped about our conversation with Phil Beach. Phil is a Music Artist, Writer, Content Creator and is also a content partner. Content partners help Voyage in so many ways from spreading the word about the work that we do, sponsoring our mission and collaborating with us on content like this. Check out our conversation with Phil below.
Hi Phil, what’s new? What should we know?
You should definitely know that NEW music is in production and on thee way. It’s the secret that doesn’t have to be a secret and it’s the first secret you should get a reward for sharing instead of consequences because of the vibe and content that’s to come with this new project. Even more exciting news about the upcoming project is that it is a joint collaboration, between myself, Phil Beach and another up and coming Savannah, Ga native and artist, Ray T.E. ( Ray The Entertainer). We have been writing, crafting, creating, and recording for the past six months or so and in a few months it will all pay off. We have been dropping creative easter egg promotion that gives away the release date while leaving room for the imagination with a simple hashtag that reads, #ThatsTheMood. So I actually challenge the readers and audience to see if they can find that release date perfectly blended and embedded on our social media platforms. Luckily our current fans and new comers won’t have to wait too long for what we are coining the new wave of R&B with this project. I’ll simply leave you all with this, “That’s The Mood”, Phil Beach and Ray T.E.
What is your opinion on the future of art and music?
My opinion on the future of art and music is actually is a very optimistic one. With more and more artist emerging with refreshing new sounds and relatable relevant content, my faith in the arts and music is holding fast. I see us moving in the direction of music and art carrying deeper uplifting messages and unifying society versus dividing it. There are and have been explosions of art and music all over the south, especially in my very own hometown of Savannah, Georgia.
How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Whew! Phil Beach, me, this guy, I’m an artist to experience and feel. Describing myself and my music, I would have to say that I’m refreshing, a breathe of fresh air, a sip of cool water, or your most relaxing of days. In that same sense, I’m also a familiar feeling, a certain comfort, and an embodiment of good vibes and better energy even when you may not even be in that space. I thoroughly enjoy making feel good music, I enjoy talking about love and life experiences, and most certainly I’m going to empower and inspire y’all to get up and be the best version of yourself that you deserve to be. I hope and claim that I’m apart of the new wave of artist here to get us back on track and change society as we as artist and creatives are suppose to do.
Can you share your view and insight on the impact and influence you believe art and creatives have on society?
Artist and creatives hold the POWER to change the WORLD. One sentence, one paint stroke, one photograph, one mural, one beat, one video, one heart at a time. We, artist are the creative historians that write history in such an abstract way that it stands the test times, move mountains, and protect our freedom as humans.
Thank you so much again for sharing all of this with us. Before we go, can you share with our readers how they can connect with you, learn more or show support?
