Rising Stars: Meet Tiffany Draper

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Draper.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my business in November 2019 due to the lack of black-owned event venues in our area. Due to COVID-19, just four months later, we would have to abruptly close down our facility. However, God had other plans because we opened up a larger facility eight months later in Huntsville in November of 2020.

I wanted something that was nice and classy yet affordable for our community of business owners and citizens. I’m pleased to say that we are currently booked solid for the next three months. I started my business on faith and faith alone. It scares me every time God gives me a new idea. I’m so thankful that he chose me to be a pillar in the community and to help our people. It’s only up from here!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. However, I’m thankful for the challenges because it caused me to be resilient and want my dream even more. We went from being open to COVID coming in and shutting us all down. It turned out to be the best that ever happened to me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a survivor of many things, I want to reach as many people in the world and encourage them to love themselves and never give up on their life or dreams. I believe that you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to succeed in life; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements help to build your character.

I’m a BOY, MOM! They are ages 19 and 7 years old. I love them with everything I have, and I make sure that they know it. Life is all about what you make, so make it a point to design your own life. I am a full-time corporate employee for the City of Huntsville and I Love Giving Back!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I feel that being relatable and transparent has been a game-changer for me with my businesses. People enjoy watching your success, but they also need to see how you got there as well. They want to see how, and its ok to show them the way. Sending the elevator back down for others doesn’t take anything away from you or your success.
