Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Two Pretty Girlz was birthed from my two pretty girls/daughter Justyce & Liberty in August 2018. I was raised by my grandmother Annie Kelly from the 4th grade until a senior in high school. She always was the most sharpest person at Church on Sunday and really took great pride in her church attire and church hat. I have always loved fashion but sometimes failed to put the pieces of the puzzle together to make me say, girl you look the bomb. I always had the latest fashion and tennis shoes growing up.
Now until I reached the age of 30/35 years of age, did I get the confidence that I needed to put on whatever I wanted or piece whatever I wanted together and feel superb about it, and that’s when I decided to open my boutique. After having a shopping habit and purchasing so many clothes in a span of a year, I decided let me open up a boutique where I can pick out the clothes, model the clothes and see other women in the clothes, it gave me absolute satisfaction. I pride my business on 100% customer service and 100% quality products. I absolutely love my customers and know they do not have to come to my store and purchase from me. My customers are the lifeline of my business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been an easy road. I currently work a full-time job, assist my husband with his trucking business and we also have rental properties that we personally managed, so time management and being consistent sometimes fails. I have struggled with being visible to people outside of my hometown and even inside of my hometown, I have had $2,000 weekends & $50 weekends.

Two Pretty Girlz Boutique is an online woman boutique that specializes in contemporary, trendy clothing for all women of all ages and sizes. I feel what sets us apart is the opportunity for a 40-year-old and above working wife & mother can still be sexy in our clothing and not feel like they are put in an age box for their age and status, because it’s tasteful and is versatile to be worn to different settings and events. I’m most proud of my brand because of the growth and the sustainability that we have endured through the changes of the world, Covid-19 wise and economically.
I’ve always been told consistency is the key and I think because we remain consistent, that’s why we still here. I love what I do and take much pride in what I do. Two Pretty Girlz offers one on one shopping experience to each and every customer and potential customer. We answer all emails, inbox, text messages back in a timely manner because we know how it feels to be ignored when wanting to ask a simple question before making a purchase. Therefore we are always available. We are three team members, consisting of me and my two daughters. We do it all, pick out the inventory, modeling the clothes, take the pictures, operate the website and store, plus ship all orders out within 1-2 days.
What makes you happy?
Happiness to me is when I hear my customers say “It fits” & “The quality is perfect.” Making my customers happy with their purchase is a domino effect, they will be back and they will tell others.
