Today we’d like to introduce you to Elaine Diamond Bailey.
Hi Elaine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Elaine I am an author of two amazing books one which is dazzling dancing diva and Dazzling Dancing Diva Attack of the germs. I am a dance teacher and formal child care worker I had always had a love for children and books I notice some time ago that when it came to certain books, even though we teach our children it’s Ok to be different there are not lot of options in books when it comes to different colors of melanin and showing their dreams and full potential I always taught my children even though we are all different shapes and colors that’s what makes everyone Special and beautiful so my children and I started our journey with having books with more Malonate magic. With an attack of the germs, we target talking about the pandemic and checking in on your child’s metal health. Both books are on Amazon and Ingram sparks. We chose to go about doing self-publishing and so far, the journey has been amazing we are melanin Magic and you don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our journey requires a lot of attention I knew nothing about getting a book published and I had to learn a lot on my own I had to research and I wanted to learn The behind-the-scenes work if you will so I wouldn’t know the cost and how much time it took in certain areas however I Did this project all over again I wouldn’t change one thing everything has been a learning experience and I’m so happy and proud and my children were able to see it from start to finish
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
My background consists of dance. My first love, children, a weird optical combination I know, but they all have taught me something different feel what separates me from others I specialize in results I always have. When I taught Ballet, it was all about technique, consistency, and results, trying your best and never giving up. What I am most proud of I would have to say my children be able to watch the process from start to finish in to see the hiccups and to learn from your mistakes and don’t let anyone tell you what you canning cannot do and I found out about some people will make more Excuses for your dreams then you so my books will always promote positivity moving to the next level and trying to do best.
