Rising Stars: Meet William Alston Jr

Today we’d like to introduce you to William Alston Jr.

Hi William, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started with music at a young age, singing in Choir at school. I always had a special talent with Music/Art. Whether it was Singing, Rapping, Dancing, it always came naturally to me. I stepped away from Music for a while due to life circumstances but found myself feeling incomplete until I realized my true purpose!

Fast forward today I’m 31 years old, CEO of Will2Creat3Enterainment & Founder of Wealth Visionary. My Vision is to help artists gain exposure, connect them with other artists they could mesh well with. Will2Creat3Entertainment will soon be a household name! I really look up to Big Hef my Mentor A&R with DefJam Records. Studying him and others like Mel Carter has help mold me into the A&R I am today. I also teach people how to gain Wealth through investing! Stocks, Crytpo, Forex. I think it’s important for all people, especially my brothers and sisters, to learn how to create Generational Wealth. I invest with my business partner Brandon Geo #MM⭕ #itsjustthebeginning

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been one crazy journey from going in and out of jail, to being homeless, to drinking problems, dealing with issues concerning my Dad. But God kept me, he knew when I didn’t know what my purpose was and he sent me a gift. My Son William Alston III, aka Trey. Obviously, I had to get my life in order or be a bum which isn’t a option. No matter what you are going through, believe there’s always a brighter day. I’m living proof of that

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an A&R for my Agency Will2Creat3Entertainment. A&R stands for Artist & Repertoire. Building that relationship with an Artist is so important so I start there. From there, I help with Creativity, Marketing, Promotion, you name it. I want every Artist that runs with me to not only have full control of their artistry I feel like too many people try to change an artist, let them be them tell your story as long as its REAL. I’m is known for bringing a different flava to the music industry I like music that has a strong message that people can relate to. I’m super proud of my boy @dollaz103. My guy Smurf we go way back, but I’ve been helping with his record titled #HavinMyWay, which Drake & Migos took and made their own. There’s a history of this happening to people I work with. It just means were on the right path!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
It would have to be Sundays because even though I didn’t want to go to church lol, I did and spent a lot of time with friends and family. Everyone would always be at our house afterwards. Playing Basketball, Cards, etc. It was always a Function.
