Hi Stephanie, so great to have you join us again. For folks who might have missed our earlier conversations, can you please take a minute to briefly introduce yourself?
I’m a freelance producer by day working in film, TV and international sports; I started doing interior design as a fun, artistic side venture while pairing with my husband’s real estate investment business. This gave me the perfect opportunity to practice my design skills and experiment with style. I made some swoon worthy design mistakes along the way, but since then I have learned A LOT. I became a certified designer, produced DIY videos for Home Depot and have been seen in Realtor.com, Apartment Therapy, Martha Stewart, Bob Vila and more!

What are your specialties as an interior designer?
I help design frustrated individuals discover their unique style and create a room of their dreams at a fraction of the cost. (Did you know the national average for Interior Design is $5,000? Yikes!) Interior design shouldn’t only be for the elite. That’s why I offer convenient, on-line interior design that is affordable and accessible to all.

I also specialize in short-term rental room designs. Let me take out all the guesswork and design the perfect Airbnb! You provide the space; I provide the rest. What are the benefits of an online interior designer relative to a more traditional designer?
As an online interior designer, I can help anyone, anywhere, at any time. We work collaboratively via an online platform and email to determine your unique concept ideas. From there, we create a layout and shopping list so you can implement your design quickly. The whole process takes only a few weeks. And it means, in as little as a month, you could be living in your dream room!

Why is it a good idea to have an interior designer for short term rentals and Airbnbs?
A Short-Term Rental Design will give you design ideas to play up your unique city or space, make your listing eye-catching, and be durable enough to stand up to all your future bookings. As an Airbnb Super Host myself, I know that you need to pack a punch on that first glance! You also need furniture pieces that are easily replaceable and durable enough for extra wear and tear incorporated with multiple guest turnovers. I understand that you place needs to look just as nice for your first guest as it does your 256th!

How can anyone benefit from an interior designer, even those who do not have a large budget or who live in an apartment?
Discovering your unique design style can be a process, but you don’t have to go it alone. As a designer my job/joy is to help you discover it and have some fun along the way. When I started out I thought that the only way my home was going to look HGTV worthy was with a lot of demolition and money. The truth is – you can create a beautiful home with the space you have. Whether you are living in a mansion or a sublet apartment, your home should reflect your style and personality. With a designer you can find ways to spruce up your space no matter where you live! (i.e. removable wallpaper, multifunctional furniture, etc.) I have a lot of tips and tricks I can share as both a renter and a homeowner to help you fall in love with your space without making costly design mistakes.
