Alexis and Taylor bring 25 years of combined interior design experience to your renovation or interior design project. Alexis spent years gaining an in-depth understanding of spatial configuration, technical drawing, the construction process, and functional considerations to become a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification. Taylor owned, operated, grew, and ultimately sold a soft goods workroom that created custom draperies, shades, and pillows for Atlanta designers. Both Alexis and Taylor are gifted with the ability to envision their client’s future space and select furniture, paint colors, art, and finishes to create a home that reflects their client’s personal style.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
When we started our business four years ago, we knew there had to be a different way to do interior design. We were right! Overall, things have gone smoothly. Our biggest challenge has been handling a high volume of work due to quarantine.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Unlike most interior designers who have a signature look, our style is our client’s – but boosted! We hope you never recognize Alexis Taylor Interior’s work. Our gift is elevating our client’s style. We love to walk through every room of a house to completely absorb the way a family lives. We notice the toddler shoes at the door, smell the soup simmering in the kitchen and make a note of a home’s architecture and age. We take time to learn about our clients, their families, and their lifestyle. We love creating unique designs that are truly specific to the individual.
