Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Looney.
Hi Amanda, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Like so many others, in 2020, my life changed in big ways; that included party planning. Suddenly, I went from working outside the home full time to being a full-time stay-at-home mom. When my daughter’s fourth birthday was approaching, I felt a lot of pressure to make her party feel grand and enchanted to compensate for the low guest count due to the pandemic.
Transforming my yard into a frozen wonderland in Georgia in September felt like a daunting task, so I began to brainstorm. What would take up a lot of space, be awe-inspiring to a handful of 4-year-olds, and hold up in the uncertain summer weather – BALLOONS! What started as a chore quickly became a passion. I was inspired by the way balloons could transform an empty space into something that feels beautiful, elegant, and magical. Throughout 2020 I began to truly understand the value of human connection and the importance of celebrating events, both big and small, with the people we cherish. I made it my mission to spread that magic to my community.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
For me, it was a quick transition from working-mom, to stay-at-home mom, to running-an-entire-business-from-home-mom. My biggest challenge has been learning how to manage my time, be responsive to my clients and be present for my family. After seven months, I’m finally comfortable wearing all of the hats at the same time.

The quality that I feel is most important to my success is that I truly value my clients and their perspective as the consumer. I do my best to create a positive customer experience and an outstanding product.
