Hi Mary Lynn, thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
Hello! My name is Mary Lynn Caudell and I own the Wedding Planning Company, Arrowed Beginnings. Our talents are a lot with our crew of dedicated hard working women. Our services include Photography, Planning/Coordination, Florals, and Rentals. We love every aspect of weddings and strive to serve and love others well through this passion of ours.
What do you believe it takes to succeed in the wedding industry?
A heart for service. We believe in loving others well. Above everything, if your focus is to serve your clients on the biggest day of their lives, everything else falls in to place. We love seeing and feeling the joy our clients experience on their wedding day. This comes from being passionate ourselves in what we are doing. We enjoy making others happy and working our tails off to make sure that no matter what, our clients feel our positive energy. Integrity and hard work go a long way as well.
What do you take pride in about Arrowed Beginnings?
Our team! I am so lucky to have the most amazing women by my side. We have the best chemistry and love to encourage and help one another through any aspect in life. Each one of them have shown me their talent and passion for their “why”. It’s exciting to know that each one of them have something that they want to contribute. We have had so much growth and added additional services and that is because of their talents. It feels like this is not just my business, but it is OUR business. To know that these ladies care as much about the success of this team as I do makes me the happiest person in the world.
What is the goal for your brides on their wedding day?
My goal is for them to live in the moment. To be free of worry and experience every second. I always find myself connecting with them throughout the day and making sure they know that they are exactly where they need to be. There are no rules, no “behind schedule” issues at any given point. They simply get to soak it all in and experience one full day of no worries and pure happiness.
Are there any fun new services that you plan on incorporating into the business in the near future?
Ahh! This goes back to my pride and joy of the business! There ARE! My team is incredible and as I mentioned before, each talented in their own creative ways. We are now adding Floral Design, Invitation Suites, Boudoir photography, and Welcome bags for our lodging guests. I am SO pumped for this!
