Hi Corey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, I started my career as a Dj back in 90’s doing local sets back in Bolingbrook, Illinois a suburb south of Chicago my father James Cochran at the time was the Senior Vice President of R&B Promotion for Motown Records. So I grew up learning the industry from him. from there is where I started my rap rap career under the name of N.E.S. signed to the Chicago label Arise Records. I released my debut album and single 4 Yo Ride. The video which aired on BET for ten weeks garnered us a tour and eventually opening for Kriss Kross at the WGCI JUMP JAM in Chicago. Many years later, I became a photographer and videographer and opened 1 of the 2 businesses I run today TCD Photography Atlanta and Let’s Go Viral Now which is my main source of income now here in Georgia where I’ve lived for the last six years after leaving Chicago.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We all have had struggles in life. I came to Georgia with my wife six years ago and pretty much had to start from scratch living in an extended stay hotel to eventually opening two businesses and purchasing a home.
