Today we’d like to introduce you to Deondra West.

Hi Deondra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out with faith and hope that I would become successful so in 2012 I made the biggest decision of my life and moved to Atlanta, Georgia from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I ended up looking for different schools in Atlanta and I found Esthetic School. It was a perfect fit because I loved the beauty industry. While attending school I learned that I loved to make others feel like they mattered, by caring for their skin and using my professional skills to keep their skin youthful. After 6 years of working in the beauty industry, I gained so much experience and I knew I wanted to have a business of my own. I opened up Shes Stunning Boutique Spa which has brought me so much joy.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been pretty much a smooth road. I accredit it begin such a smooth road to God guiding me along the way. Of course in the beginning there’s always the question of “will I make it, or fail? Or do I have enough money? Knowing what my purpose was, truly kept me confident that I would succeed.

I didn’t start with much just whatever I had. Which was a few facials products that I used on the clients and money to pay business rent the first week. I truly started out with very little and worked my way up and made the spa better and better as I went.

As a licensed Esthetician I started She’s Stunning Boutique Spa it’s a skincare boutique that offers facials, exfoliating treatments and products to keep the skin youthful and healthy. She’s stunning boutique spa makes every facial customized to what your skin needs at the time. Most of all each client is treated with high customer service making them feel comfortable and special. Mostly I’m proud of how clients feel after their facial, they truly feel like they were cared for after their service. That means the world to me because I truly work from a place of love. I want my customers to know that She’s stunning boutique spa is a come as you are place, we are here to help.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The most important quality for success is consistency. I want to make sure full attention and results are present for each customer I interact with. Also being genuine is important so the customer feels comfortable.
