Today we’d like to introduce you to Ansley Branch.
Hi Ansley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We had a (figurative) pandemic baby named Muse Skin Health & Aesthetics located in Inman Park, Atlanta!
Prior to the birth of Muse, I spent over five years injecting 6,000+ patients as a Nurse Practitioner under Dr. Theresa Jarmuz at Buckhead Facial Plastic Surgery. I was also hands-on in over 75 facial plastic surgery cases which allowed me to (literally) dive deep into facial anatomy. While working in this setting my interest in facial anatomy, skin health, and the aging process quickly became a passion.
I’m an Atlanta native and received my undergraduate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UGA and the Medical College of Georgia. Before getting into the plastics world, I worked with post-traumatic brain injury patients at the amazing Shepherd Center. My experience at Shepherd was beyond valuable and life-changing. After working as an RN for a few years, I went back to school to became a Nurse Practitioner then transitioned to the plastic surgery/medical aesthetics world.
Today, I specialize exclusively in medical aesthetics including skin health, injectables, laser therapies, and tissue regeneration treatments. Our goal was to bring aesthetic services to the intown neighborhoods, so Muse was born! I live intown and love serving my community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We opened doors on June 1st, 2020, amidst the onset of a once-in-a-generation pandemic. As if the pandemic wasn’t scary enough!
Surprisingly, we found that the lock-down led to a much-needed focus on self-care and a skincare craze. Further, with everything closed, all my patients needed their Dysport and Botox at the same time, right when we opened our doors. What resulted was essentially a mass exodus of people leaving their homes, desperate for their injectables. This reality resulted in a full schedule on day one and we have only gotten busier. The timing of everything ended up being eerily positive for Muse!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Located in the center of Inman Park, Muse Skin Health & Aesthetics is dedicated to your personal aging journey.
Utilizing a variety of specialized injectables and medical grade skincare, we’re unique in that we believe in a delicate, minimalist approach. This approach offers the safest and most effective options for you to achieve natural refinement and healthy, glowing skin; it also reduces downtime, allowing you to continue living your best life.
Our injectables include Botox/Dysport, Sculptra (a biostimulatory filler) and hyaluronic acid fillers. On the skincare side, we offer a customized ZO Skin Health regimen and skin treatments including chemical peels and Platelet Rich Fibrin micro-channeling and injections. Our goal is to offer laser therapies in the coming year as well.
In the coming year, we’re also pleased to soon be adding a medical esthetician. We love our patients and are excited for this journey with them!
