Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Bell.

Hi Michele, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have always enjoyed working with numbers. Throughout the years, I realized I am good at calming chaos whether through providing structure and processes or with my matter of fact communication style. As a client once told me, “you can make chicken salad out of chicken $#!t”. After a successful finance career in the corporate and start-up world, I took a leap of faith and started my own boutique accounting and financial advisory firm, ClearPath Associates.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to where I am now has had mountains and valleys, twists and turns. But it’s been a fun ride. When first launching my firm, my focus was on a particular market of companies and I kept hitting speedbumps. Little did I know that another market was there sitting in the wings waiting on me. Helping the small business owner achieve success and profitability is where I get the most satisfaction. Also, knowing when the right time to expand and add employees was a bit of a struggle with timing. I now have a team that supports me and our clients wholeheartedly.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a boutique accounting and financial advisory firm focused on the solopreneur and small business owner. We provide services ranging from Bookkeeping to Cash Flow management to CFO advisory and anywhere in between. We provide a big picture view with a small business entrepreneur mindset, all at a price that the small business owner can afford. Since 2016, we’ve been helping small business owners navigate accounting and finance within their business so they can focus on growing their business. You see the vision! We drive profitability!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Atlanta is a city in the forest and I love living amongst the greenery. I am fortunate to live in an area where I can walk to many restaurants and shops and I rarely have to get in the car. And this is a plus because I really hate traffic.
