Today we’d like to introduce you to Keive Gordon.

Hi Keive, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a country girl from TyTy, GA. I grew up with a love for Theatre, Dancing, and “showing off” as my parents use to say; which makes perfect sense as to why I am a Model, lol. I started Modeling as a teenager for the Film/Fashion Board working with brands such as Ashley Stewart, Lane Bryant, and David’s Bridal. It wasn’t til about three years ago that I believed in myself enough to make modeling my only career.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Some of the struggles I have faced is learning to accept the word “NO” from brands and picking back up and continuing to push forward when being denied. Another struggle I dealt with whe. I first started was comparing myself to other models and content creators who had come before me; wondering if I would ever be good enough to work with large brands. This type of thinking will hinder your abilities and confidence levels so I had to jump out of this mindset quickly by remembering who I was and reminding myself of my talents and abilities; I’d I had to work harder than the next person than so be it but we weren’t giving up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Plussize Model, Influencer, and Content Creator in Atlanta, GA. I am known for my creative content ideas about Fitness, Body Positivity, and Fashion. I am most proud of my determination and self-discipline to keep pushing forward and not giving up in an industry that’s so competitive.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Good luck and bad luck have played several roles in my life and business. They are what shape you and mold you into the person you are by being Grateful when things are Good but also humbling yourself and taking it back to the basics when things are going wrong.
