Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Presley.
Hi Sean, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
A Native of Sarasota, Florida
I began my journey in the cinematography world at the age of 13 years old when a member in my church (Glenn Moore) introduced the idea of video production and editing to me. As a kid, I was so infatuated with the idea of graphics and creations of editing that I chose to indulge and learn. Having professional acting training and a theatrical background, the love for the arts had begun to rain supreme, but I never lost my touch or desire for video production. Having the opportunity to go to Hollywood as a teen was so dope! Having presences with some of Hollywood’s elite Like Michael Mann, Taraiji P. Henson, Nick Cannon, and more really motivated me to continue doing what I loved to do!! So I started to create my own platform via YouTube with comedy sketches and various content shooting and editing my own videos. And this was way before the new wave of online comedy sketches, lol. I would like to consider myself the originator, lol. But fast forward to now when the pandemic hit. I was home for five days and working a part-time at the hospital on the weekends because my children were out of school. I figured I would start me a business and put 100 percent of energy into creating marketable videos. I shot and produced a short called the Black Business Promotional Tour, and it wind up being a huge success. Highlighting Black owned small businesses, and from there it was all the way up. With God, and my family, and supportive culture, and community I’ve been able to thrive and still building day by day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t always smooth. Due to not having all the equipment and things I need some projects had to take a backseat. Lighting, and Such… I still don’t have everything quite yet, but God is still blessing with exposure and opportunity.

The Sean Presley Project Company is a Visual Art & Entertainment Company! We tell cinematic stories through the lens and bring your Video Projects to life, and on the entertainment side we like to host Entertainment shows with Comedians & Musical Artist, and such! My brand is a beacon of light to the community! Teaching the importance of Black Cinema & Creativity. Inclusive Energy where we can all grow and learn, laugh, and live together!
