Daily Inspiration: Meet Ashia Greere

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashia Greere.

Hi Ashia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m originally from Gary, Indiana. I moved to St. Paul, Minnesota when I was in the sixth grade. At the age of 14, my first job was at a nursing home in St. Paul, MN. As a dietary aide. So I’ve been working in the kitchen a long time. I left east Chicago, Indiana and moved to Houston for five years. Still staying In The cooking field Cooking just comes natural to me. I come from a whole family full of cooks. So I decided to take cooking to a whole other level. Moving to Atlanta and making a name for myself.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some days are smoother than others, lol. Since it’s just me for right now. The busier I get, I will definitely be looking to hire some employees. Food is very competitive so I always make sure my food and experience is one of a kind. No matter how many times I wanted to give up, I had to keep going. Raising three kids on my own and having a passion for cooking failing was not an option.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
