Hi Kary, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started…when I stopped.

For nearly a decade, I spent my days focused on getting promoted. I was seeking the happiness that I thought came from proving myself at an established company – climbing the corporate ladder, making the six-figure salary, and pining after the annual vacation you may or not take.

But what I truly wanted was to live my life in a way that felt aligned with my soul.

I wanted to build a bold, authentic brand that excited every fiber in my being when I woke up in the morning. And I knew I wasn’t going to find it leading international marketing initiatives at top Fortune 100 companies, NYC ad agencies and creative startups.

So I quit.

Not too long ago, I actually thought I knew it all. I was sitting at my six-figure cubicle wondering “is this where my story ends or begins?”. Is this what I trained for, what I went to grad school for, what I got my MBA for?

So I flipped the script on my 10+ years of marketing experience, my education as a brand strategist and my MBA into multiple profitable six-figure businesses in digital marketing and real estate all by harnessing the power of social media.

My superpower is helping women brand their dreams while pursuing the kind of life they actually want…. one with abundant freedom, joy, and purpose.

Today, I help women entrepreneurs just like me take a chance on themselves and their dreams. And I do it while working less and living more. I’m here to support women in achieving their goals, growing their amazing business, and living your badass life.

I believe the best way to predict the future is to create it yourself. The future is not predetermined. It unfolds as a direct result of your actions…the decisions you make and the risks you take. Stop leaving your life up to chance and start pursuing the kind of life you actually want.

Fast forward eight years, and I have built a multi six-figure business as a Social Brand Coach.

With my vast experience in attraction marketing and social selling is backed by her MBA from Georgia Tech, years of consumer insights for billion-dollar brands at Procter & Gamble, and nearly a decade as a successful serial entrepreneur I know help women build authentic and profitable brands online.

Launching the highly sought-after Social From Scratch coaching program and community for women entrepreneurs. A program that brought in over $300,000 in its first nine months of launching.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’M AN OVERNIGHT SUCCESS!

If by “overnight” you mean working morning, noon and night while raising my daughter to get to where I am today.

Then, yes.

It’s easy to look at people who are closer to where you want to be and think things came easy for them. But the truth is behind every successful person are days, months and years of hard work.

I learned the hard way of how to make social media work for my business. After two years of growing my previous business.

I was burnt out.

I had launched a successful course, filled my calendar with 1:1 clients, landed a career-making project, and helped buy our house all from social media.

But, at what cost?

Instead of feeling like a success, I felt defeated, deflated, and unable to continue on. My social media burnout resulted in a two years hiatus from social. I didn’t post, scroll, like, comment and most importantly build my business for two years.

So when I returned to social media in 2021, I knew I HAD to do things differently. I needed to have a strategy, a plan, a system. Something I could follow and fall back on so that I never burned out again.

I learned the hard way so my community didn’t have to.

I don’t teach hacks and easy money schemes. I teach tried and true strategies that have helped me get to where I am today.

I believe without a shadow of a doubt that it wasn’t until I stopped marketing my business online and started building my brand that I truly began to grow.

Now I’m dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs build intentionally authentic social brands that lead with value and close with trust. My goal is to help women attract, connect and convert your followers to clients by connecting versus selling, so you can work less, live more, and have fun doing it.

And to prove it, I closed my 13,000 follower Instagram account in May 2021 and started from scratch and teach women entrepreneurs exactly what it takes to grow a profitable social brand. Fast-forward nine months and I had an engaged community of over 30,000 women entrepreneurs.

I wasn’t overnight success (not even close!) but it’s the journey that makes it all worthwhile.
