Today we’d like to introduce you to Viola Choice.

Hi Viola, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I created CHOSEN when I was attending Clark Atlanta University in 2017. I have always been super ambitious and being the first person to attend college in my family, I knew I had to change the narrative. I had always had a love of fashion and have dreamed to be a successful entrepreneur. I created this brand to inspire people to turn their test into their testimony!

When I created Chosen I was going through a tough part of my life. I had just lost someone super close to me and I was homesick. I’m originally from the Bay Area, btw! Chosen gave me a place to be creatively free and put my mind into something that makes me happy. Since then, we have been in multiple stores, appeared in fashion shows, magazines, and even hosted our own fashion show in Tyler Perry Studios! I thank God for my journey. I plan to be one of the biggest female-owned streetwear brands in the world!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life has presented many obstacles that have only made me stronger. I have dealt with depression and anxiety the last couple of years. I lost a lot of people I love, fought depression, been robbed. I almost was kidnapped… the list goes on but I’m so blessed to still be here to tell the stories. I recently had a baby girl, she is my everything. Pregnancy is not easy, and postpartum depression is real!! But through this, I have become a better woman and kept my business growing. That is the message of my brand, no matter what cards you dealt, you can play your cards to the best of your ability and still win!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Chosen Official?
Chosen Official is a motivational clothing company with a platform to inspire individuals to recognize their light within a dark tunnel. The Chosen collection is where culture meets fashion – curated to inspire the Chosen one to embrace their divine path by uncovering their purpose. We are more than a brand, we are hope.

We specialize in unisex high fashion streetwear and apparel. I want to give females more streetwear options. We offer everything from sweatsuits, to slides, to dresses. We are known for the comfort and style of our bold pieces. I am most proud of our growth and evolution as a company. I love the inspiration we give to people through our clothing. We go the extra mile. Some of our great achievements include our first fashion show earlier this year at Tyler Perry Studios / Artlanta in Atlanta, GA. We have also been in two stores. I give Chosen my all and always will. I pray over my Business everyday. The work is just beginning and God is behind it all!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
My favorite app is Canva!!! I’m not a huge reader but I love a good motivational book. I love audible books and podcasts. Motivational and positive speakers are my favorite.
