Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I want to briefly walk you guys through I how became a successful celebrity makeup artist and beauty influencer from Columbus, Ohio. Whew omg, well let me tell you how it all started. 2016 I was visiting Los Angeles for BET weekend. I was booked for a stand by makeup artist for cover girl. It all sparked my very interesting journey. Few months after BET awards, I came back to follow and chase my dreams of being a successful makeup artist. My first year here in LA, I took the time to learn the culture of LA and study the style of makeup they wanted here and more. I then started reaching out to as many influencers and celebrities that I know would love my personality and my makeup style. Two years into chasing my dreams, I landed working with celebrities like Vivica Fox, Cardi B, Queen Naija, Nafessa Williams and more. Things started moving so fast by my 4th year into being a celebrity makeup artist, I was booked for a 32 city tour. Was one of the best experiences of my life. By my 5th year became a makeup and beauty influencer. Now we’re on my 7th year and I’m a popular and known on all social media platforms @RebelFaces.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been very interesting. The most challenging part was being away from my siblings and my family because I moved at such a young age. So I had to have the strength to find and build who I was in such a huge city.

Celebrity makeup artist. Going on tour with two celebrities was my best accomplishment.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the opportunities here the most. What I don’t enjoy is how hard it is to build a trust worrying friendship with people because you never know who to trust.
