Today we’d like to introduce you to Andzelika Bobrova.
Andzelika, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am from Lithuania, beautiful city called Kaunas. 12 years ago, I received full track & field academic scholarship to go to Kennesaw State University. It was totally a beautiful experience. The faster you run, the bigger spotlight you are in the pictures! And this is how it all started. I was getting approached by various photographers during track & field meets, who helped me get into modeling that also lead to acting.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been hilly haha but obstacles are always good and encouraging to strive to reach better results! Only moving forward!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
After I graduated from college (Bachelors of Science in Management) I had many different jobs that included serving, hospitality, and various sell positions in retail and insurance world. However, I always wanted to pursue my dream, which is acting and modeling. Few years ago, I made the decision to fully focus in pursuing the career as an artist and surrounded myself with that environment only. And let me tell you! It’s been the best decision I had made. Focus on your dreams!!!
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I try to find time to watch various tv shows and movies from different tv platforms such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime. It totally helps sharpen my skills as an actress. Also, movies and tv shows were my #1 teachers in helping me learning English prior to my arrival to US. I was going to so many different tutors and studying for hours and not passing my SAT exam! It took me one season of binge watch various shows and movies with subtitles when I unconsciously learned English and passed all the exams!
