We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not always been easy for me. Nobody knew that I was homeless living out of my car while I was in Tallahassee, FL. I’m afraid of being a failure so I decided to not run back home but to fight through my trials & tribulations which gave me the humility to endure all of the tough times in life. My biggest supporter was my grandmother Linda D. Mitchell she was like my cheerleader. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2020 around the time that my career started to really pop. Mentally & spiritually I was battered but eventually, I had to have a come to Jesus meeting with myself and continue to go hard for my grandmother, myself & my brand.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a celebrity beauty influencer. I don’t call myself a hairstylist; I feel like that is so clichè I love beauty I eventually plan on taking classes to become a MUA being that I love to beautify women. I think I’m mostly known for my branding/marketing tactics, my personality and the fact that I’m one of the few in the hair industry who promote natural clean hairlines with my lace installations meaning my chair is a NO BABY HAIR zone. I’m mostly proud of my will to continue to succeed I’m never content or complacent with anything that I do in life I’m big on growth so to see me growing and achieving really makes me proud. I’m not like your typical hairstylist or beauty influencer. I created my brand “Hair Physician” that slowly became my alter ego. A lot of people don’t understand why I wear wigs and keep my facial hair that brings a lot of traction to my page. There is no rules in living a happy life so one day I may want to wear my wigs and get my makeup done because it makes me happy and the next day I may want to rock my clean fade and embrace my masculinity it’s me & it works…

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Allow yourself to be unique anything is possible if you actually put in the work. Don’t fake it til you make it cause God can’t bless who you pretend to be. And if your up stays humble because down is always an option & if you’re down stay hopeful because the only other place you can go is up. Success is inevitable even when times are hard to remember that situations are temporary and most setbacks be a setup for something greater!
