Rising Stars: Meet Jeremy Holloway

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Holloway.

Hi Jeremy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I went through a traumatic experience in a relationship. I didn’t know how to express myself. So I started writing journals saying how I felt. I started picturing those moments and wanted to redo those conversations. So I started writing out what I wish I did and said. Years later, those same journals turned into skits that people watched and shared. Over 600 million views later, I’m here.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth ride. Dealing with understanding social media. Their rules that changes ever so often. Getting hacked over the years and having to start all over. I got banned for a year on social media and just recently got released from their system. So I’m really starting to get back out there.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actor that used social media to push my professional career. Within doing my skits, I began directing, writing, filming, and editing all of them. My skits are not comedy. They are life-changing experiences that everyone go through. Which is why so many people resonate with them. I’m proud that my content gives people a voice that the world doesn’t allow them to have. Being able to tell people stories and do it in a way where we can come together than push each other apart.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I have a lot of things coming out. From my second book to my stage play, to my new web series! Also, I want people to know that understanding who you are is greatest thing you will ever accomplish. Loving who you are will be the best thing you were ever accomplish.
