Life & Work with Davia Woulard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Davia Woulard.

Hi Davia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Early in the pandemic, I decided to start a fashion-inspired blog for plus-size women. I created this space because I didn’t see many women like me growing up (outside of my family). Growing up, I lacked confidence and I needed to see someone like me; so I was inspired to create a space for women. Fast forward two years, I have grown my IG following to over 10K and Tik Tok following to over 22K. I am blessed to have worked with almost every major plus-size brand and have began monetizing on my platform. I consider myself an influencer/content creator. My hope is that women are inspired and grow in confidence from my page!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think the biggest struggle has been within myself. As much as I have created this space centered around confidence Imposter Syndrome has set in many times. Social media is an image-driven place so it’s always the thought of am I good enough? I am so blessed to be around people who push me every day and see things I don’t even see in myself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a plus-size content creator/influencer in Atlanta, GA. I have created a platform centered around styling tips and inspiration for women. I believe the statement when you look good, you feel good! I know the right garment can make you feel amazing. I am proud to have worked with almost every plus size brand and more such as Torrid, Ashley Stewart, Lane Bryant, Forever 21, Fashion Nova, Macy’s, Spanx, Eloquii, etc. I think what sets me apart is that I am just a regular girl who went for it and I think that’s inspiring.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned is stay true to yourself and know there is room for everyone to succeed.
