Today we’d like to introduce you to Payton Peoples.

Hi Payton, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Worked in sales and marketing for over 20 years. Started in Real Estate after we personally had a terrible experience. I knew I loved Real Estate and I didn’t want others to have the same experience we did. I got my license in October 2019 and quickly became one of the most sought-after agents in South Atlanta. I’m currently in the top 12% of my office, which has almost 350 agents. I also serve as the Communications Chair for the Atlanta chapter of Keller Williams Young Professionals. I’m also part of the 2023 ALC (Agent Leadership Council), overseeing educational opportunities for agents in our area. Leadership is a large part of why I do what I do the way I do them. It’s very important to me to have the right people in the right places in order to make a successful business work well.

I’ve been married for almost 14 years and we have two kids, 11 and 9. My husband is a RN in the Emergency Department.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not! Earning my real estate license was not easy. I have terrible test anxiety, so having to go through all the tests to become licensed was a struggle for me.

Once I was licensed, it took me about 7 months to really find my place and get a good understanding of how I wanted to run my business. Everything took another big shift at 2.5 years in the business when I transitioned from a partnership to being an individual agent.

All while the market went completely out of control and now we’re in a completely different type of market. Helping educate people on why this is different than 2008 and what their options are is a huge part of my business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Realtor in South Atlanta based in Peachtree City. I serve all of South Atlanta and specialize in first-time home buyers and clients who are relocating to or from the area.

Since South Atlanta is quickly becoming the Hollywood of the South, I’ve found a great niche partnering with families who are relocating here with the movie industry as well.

I am most proud of my presence on social media and throughout the community. Serving the community and helping create impact is part of our mission.

I consider myself a modern agent. If you want your real estate experience to be top-notch, no matter if you’re buying or selling, you need an agent that understands modern marketing and has a successful social media presence. I bring all of that and more to my clients.
