Today we’d like to introduce you to Juanita Woodson.
Hi Juanita, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I wrote and published my first book titled, “Don’t Go That Way: Protect Your Purpose” back in 2017. After learning about the publishing process, and the passion that I have for writing I’ve since written 3 more books of my own and collaborated in two other book projects, my love for writing and helping people led me to opening my company Grace 4 Purpose, Publishing Co.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have definitely been struggles along the way. The thing about struggles or failure is that it gives you the opportunity to get better. One of the main struggles I faced was finding balance. There are so many tasks and hats that have to be worn in one day it can get a little overwhelming. I’ve learned that if I plan out my day, I handle those “overwhelming” moments so much better. It also keeps me organized and productive.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Grace 4 Purpose is a publishing company where we work with aspiring authors and writers to publish their books. We do this by providing publishing packages, marketing services and coaching services.
I love author coaching. It really gives me the opportunity to connect with writers 1-1 and push them to step out of their comfort zones and share their stories.
What matters most to you? Why?
Seeing others win! I know that my purpose is to help others publish their books and walk in their own purpose. I just feel like my purpose is bigger than me, and seeing others win just pushes me to keep going.
