Conversations with Shiwana Francis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shiwana Francis.

Shiwana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started first as a digital Influencer who wore stylish clothes while reciting original poetry.

I began to intern for a design company as a business consulting and designer. I decided to launch my own collection in 2021.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I have had obstacles with my manufacturers in ensuring that the sizes reflect the diversity in sizes in which my company prides itself in offering, but with due diligence, the sizing has been adjusted.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a well-known Influencer with over 462k subscribers. I also have performed poetry in front of celebrities and with celebrity poets. I have written a novel which has received good reviews.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a creative but lacked confidence due to excessive bullying due to my skin color,, but now l use my experiences to help others feel more confident about themselves.
