Daily Inspiration: Meet Briana Fields

Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Fields.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Music has always been a passion of mine since a little girl. I had an older uncle who would write raps and freestyle and I took a liking to it and fell in love. Throughout the years I was slowly molding myself into who the person I am today. I found a group of people on my journey that was helping me build my brand and kind of just started our own family of business. I would always be in the studio, I took it as a real job. I built a buzz locally from putting out music that a lot of people could relate with, I stayed consistent on social media. Dropping freestyle cover videos mainly, I started to get more familiar with TikTok and my numbers started to pick up faster on all platforms. The whole process was a real journey to get here so this only scratches the surface. I now have a trending popular song “ BIG MOOD “ that’s going crazy right now and that’s all from still being consistent and dropping relatable music.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not….

Sacrifices are the toughest choices. Right before I dropped my biggest song, I literally lost everything so mentally it gets tough when you’re chasing dreams… Losing close ones like my Dad before my breaking out moment was another hard pill to deal with on this journey. Being an artist requires a lot of investment so finances was a huge part, being that I had a team I built off of love and passion it just made it a little bit easier on me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Hip/Hop R&B Artist. I make music that’s versatile but unique. I’m best known for my song “Big Mood” as of right now but slowly built an organic fanbase. I’m most proud of my perseverance and consistency. I think my work ethic and dedicated drive for music sets me apart.

What were you like growing up?
I was quiet but funny. I’ve always been a loner/introvert type of girl but if you knew me personally, then you knew the real me. I like to laugh and I love making others feel good. I was in the band and played basketball in school, I would also be in the studio as a kid with my aunt recording my songs.
