Life & Work with Dutch Guest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dutch Guest.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2020, an idea was born during among friends in a local Rotary club at Watkinsville, GA. We felt a strong need to bring people together and had a passion for the brewing process. Friends, families, and events came to South Main Street, where we were developing our craft. Through common goals and mutual friends, we at South Main Street began to meet with developers at Wire Park. We opened in October of 2022 and are Watkinsville and Oconee County’s First Brewery.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always growing pains with any new business, but we have navigated those as a team and kept communication our main focus as we have learned our community and how best to serve our community and meet its need. Community Fueled is our logo and we continue to keep the community in the forefront.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We enjoy having a wide variety to choose. We have a range of IPAs, stouts, lighter crushable beers as well as an in house seltzer with the ability to add the fruit juice of your choosing. All of our menu items are developed with our customers and community in mind. We are also a family-friendly business. We are created by families and love to see generations enjoying our space and our products.

What are your plans for the future?
We are always looking ahead and to next steps. Wire Park is a new mixed-use development in Watkinsville and as new businesses open at Wire Park we are always looking at possibilities to collaborate and grow as a business as well as part of the Wire Park community.
