Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Morrow.
Hi Crystal, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started this journey back in 2014 when me and my daughter who was 10 yrs old at the time, packed the car up and relocated to Georgia from Ypsilant, MI. I had a background in Graphic Design. Shortly after, we got settled here. I started working as a graphic designer at well-known sign company. It was then where I was introduced to storefront signage, vehicle graphics and design. Over the years, I’ve worked at several signs shops learning all the techniques of this industry. I enjoyed the whole aspect of it all and decided I wanted to start my own company with the experience and knowledge that I gained. I invested in some equipment and started networking. In 2021, I officially opened my business Designz by Visions that specializes in mobile advertisement. My company provides vehicle graphics for semi-trucks and other commercial or company vehicles. We offer other graphic design services.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been some struggles with my business. I have been blessed to have made many connections for business, but the challenge is maintaining business through the winter months since this is a slow period for me. I do get a part-time job to supplement my income.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We specialize in Vehicle graphics/ mobile advertisement. We offer a wide range of services that include, Vehicle lettering, graphics, decals, USDOT and MC numbers, car magnets, storefront window graphics, floor graphics, social media decals, graphic design services, custom t-shirts and more. I’m most proud of seeing my companies work as a mobile billboard. When I’m out and about. What sets me apart from the others is that my company is mobile which means we come to you.
Any big plans?
I’m currently working on growing my client base in order to allow me to make my business my primary source of income. I’m currently looking into workshops and seminars that will allow me to network and obtain new techniques to better my business.
