Meet Darius Taylor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Darius Taylor.

Darius Taylor

Hi Darius, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story is fairly simple, I figured out I had the talent to produce music in high school when I had the best score on a music theory assignment. My music teacher pushed me to be the producer I am today, him and another music teacher of mine named Spazecraft helped me realize the dormant talent I had. I got to where I am today by just sticking to my craft and never giving up. It’s Far From Over.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No road worth traveling is a smooth one. There’s been times I wanted to quit because I didn’t see progress. I’ve come to realize that it takes baby steps to get to where you want to be.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My name is Dtaylurr and I’m a producer/engineer coming from Far Rockaway Queens New York. I specialize in making vibes, which can range from an rnb slow jam or an uptempo drill beat. I’m known for the smoothness and catchiness of my beats that’s something that also separates me from the others. I’m always willing to push the threshold and try new things.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Well, first a mentor that helped would be my former teacher Spazecraft. He pushed me to be creative. As far as now I would have to thank my team FFO(Far From Over) we help each other grow and stay on point. My engineer SikeadelikBeats shouts out to him he always has my back when it comes to engineering. Shoutout to my Close friends too for just showing love to the beats I share on a weekly basis.

Pricing:

  • Non-exclusive beats-$70
