Today we’d like to introduce you to Lili Venus.

Hi Lili, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi! My name is Lili Venus. I am a singer-songwriter registered with BMI and I provide collaboration services for other artists. I ghostwrite, host writing and listening sessions, and recently got into producing my own music. My goal is to have my own studio and publishing services for independent artists in the near future. I travel to Vegas, Atlanta, and the east coast often. I aim to provide resources to help artists get publishing deals and learn about sync licensing. I plan to use my own success as a testimony to bring in clients. I am currently working on a sound healing album for this Brand “Essence of Inanna LLC” to use for their clients. I got my start in the entertainment industry as a very small child. My mother signed me up for theater… My first play, I was only three and had horrible stage fright. I then was signed up for band and choir and the rest was history. Writing has always been a gift. In school, I would get in trouble because I would simply read book summaries and generate great papers with no outline or rough draft or notes. I still do this to this day. I’m very old school with my writing. I’m behind in formats and using computers but I’m slowly catching up.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The process of making music and modeling and acting is like second nature to me. What’s hard is learning the business mechanics. Most artists think all you need is talent but the industry is so much more than that. You must learn the business side, or you’ll just be a puppet.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a jill of all trades. In the entertainment industry, I model, act and do music. I’ve been modeling since 19 years old and have been published several times as a tattoo model. I recently broke into runway modeling thanks to J Spence from Spence cocky gear and Poppy Teez and Trendsetter from Nashville, Tennessee. We just had a fashion show, and it was such a hit. Acting I’ve been doing since childhood. I’m in several music videos and had a few gigs as a background actress. I’ve recently done work with ESPN Vmas and met Lainey Wilson.

Musically I’m headed to Italy as a soprano in the Nashville Choral project. I’ve been an alto since the third grade so I’m happy I’ve expanded my vocal range. What sets me apart is my drive, versatility, and authenticity.

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to pick up more acting gigs, less background roles more leads, do more runway fashion shows, and lastly drop music of various genres that is real and speaks to the soul. Along with providing a space for other artists to collab with me and create a platform for independent artists to generate money from their art without all the confusion. The Botanica I am a brand ambassador for is reopening in the spring and I’ll be hosting sound healing sessions for the public free of charge. That’s very big for me, putting people’s healing in my hands.
