Hi Lindsay, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The moment I held my daughter for the first time, I knew it was my job to keep her safe and happy. What new mom I couldn’t have predicted was that my baby was going to scream night after night with colic… I needed to do SOMETHING to get the screaming to stop.
We both needed sleep. I bought every pacifier I could get my hands on. What I didn’t know then was that the pacifier industry will gladly market features that are inadequate and unsafe. It led me to create Soothe Beginnings. Our newborn babies deserve safe pacifiers that work, and parents deserve peace of mind.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Launching a new company is an uphill battle.
Product delays stemming from a manufacturing holdup outside of my control have been the biggest thorn in my side. Each hurdle has to be faced head-on, otherwise you are giving up. Viewing a hurdle as simply that means that there is another side to get to.
