Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Miller
Matthew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My passion and innate talent gave me the courage to step out on my own and pursue what I love for a living—hairdressing. Back in October of 2013, I opened my salon with a dream: to bring the quality and style of LA, NYC, Italy, and Atlanta right here to North Georgia. Fast forward over a decade later, and I’ve transformed my initial 2,700 square-foot salon near Publix into a sprawling 7,500 square-foot beauty hub nestled on a serene acre and a half. Completely transforming once was a boring bank, into a luxurious one-stop-shop salon.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting with just four employees, I’ve now grown my two businesses to employ over 100 dedicated individuals. The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Initially, the toughest hurdles were retaining employees and maintaining the high standards of quality as we expanded throughout the community.

I define success as achieving meaningful goals while maintaining balance and fulfillment across personal, professional, and relational aspects of life. It’s about continuous growth, making a positive impact, and finding happiness in both achievements and everyday moments. Happiness for your family, yourself and your team.
