Today we’d like to introduce you to David Anthony
Hi David , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My start was an effortless blessing and surprise, I’ve always loved fashion and styling. my career in the industry started as a model then as a Dancer on Club MTV (doing fashion performing in fashion routines opened up my zest for styling. My start in becoming an actual stylist happen when I became a personal shopper for friends who were models, and doing wardrobe closet organizing for some co-workers when I worked in corporate. America. From then it excelled when I became the director of entertainment at Hal prince Music and Entertainment, there I started styling some of the clients whose events I was Emceeing on. Once I relocated from New York in 2010 to Atlanta. I expanded by offering Image Consulting services and social media branding to Local talent as well as the everyday person, speakers, authors, and the christian community. Even students transitioning from college in to their chosen careers. I continued to grow when I started doing background/featured work on various TV and Movie sets which opened the door for me to become a wardrobe coordinator and costumer on Set of a few independent projects and on some of the sets I was on as a Stand in, PA or doing background work. being involved in many aspects of the TV and Movie industry helped expand my knowledge of Styling and Wardrobe. Today I offer a variety of services that include-Image Consulting, Wardrobe Styling, Wardrobe Closet Organizing, Personal Shopping, Social Media Branding/Content creating for professional and personal brands/talent.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to hasn’t always been smooth it has been met with it’s ups and down, having to still work other jobs while sowing into my business, taking on clients and other opportunities for less than your normal price to get my foot in the door has led to some difficult financial times as well as personal sacrifices. However the reward has been seeing the legacy of work that God has positioned me to create and be a part of. I’ve lived many lives in The Entertainment and Fashion Industries. Model, Dancer, Emcee/Host, Fashion Stylist, Father, Son, Brother, Friend, and most of all Faith has helped keep me grounded and focused on running until I finish.

As an Image consultant my goal is to help you discover your true “Style Identity” A style that best represents your Professional Brand or Personal Style life. What set’s me apart is I work From Faith, then I see the Vision ,and it ends in Fashion. I aim for us to use our unique “Style Identities” to elevate, enhance, expand and grow our brands and personal style. I want Fashion to tell stories of culture to empower and uplift ourselves and others to help us stand out. It’s not about labels or trends or fads, it’s about helping you to create an impactful style covered in garments of Faith and Grace. A Style that is classic and lasting. One of the best things is to see the Published work the smiles on the faces of clients and the opportunities that staying Faithful to Gods calling on my life and the fruit it has produced.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is growing up in Brooklyn Until 12 then Moving to Freeport Long Island. It was a blessing to have the opportunity to live in two different environments that helped shape me into a man who can walk in different atmospheres and excel. Also being blessed to live in a city that lived and breathed Faith Fashion and entertainment and is rich in culture.
