Conversations with Adam Thomas Ziemba

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Thomas Ziemba

Hi Adam Thomas, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My mom is also an actress, and when I was born, she thought I was a really cute baby. She wanted to see what would happen if she got me into acting too, so when I turned 4 years old, she submitted my name for an audition for a national commercial. To my surprise, I got the part! It was an AARP commercial that still plays to this day! My second audition was for Amazon Prime Video’s “One Fast Move.” I got that role too! It was exciting because we didn’t realize at the time that that was going to be my big movie debut.

After that, I started going to a lot of auditions and landing different projects. It was a very busy year, I worked on so many different projects at just six years old including commercials, my big movie debut, an ABC TV show, modeling jobs for Carters and I have so many more projects lined up! I’m very excited to see what is to come!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I can’t say there have been many challenges so far. My first two auditions resulted in a booked role and I couldn’t have been more surprised and happy! Most of the roles I audition for are meant for kids, so I get to just be myself and have a lot of fun. Sometimes, I do need to pretend to be someone else, and that’s a lot of fun as well. I love using my imagination to create different characters. It’s like playing a game where I can explore new ideas and stories.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most known for and proud of my role in Amazon Prime Video’s, ‘One Fast Move.’ When it premiered on Amazon Prime Video it was number one in the world for 5 days straight, and in the Top 10 in the world for over a month! Wow! This project involved a lot of hard work, but my strong suit is in following directions. My mom always says I listen well for my age, which is why directors enjoy working with me. I just focus on being myself and having fun, and I never feel nervous. I think my background—growing up with a mom who is also an actress—helps me a lot and helps me set myself apart from others.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My mom has been in the industry for over 20 years, starting her journey when she was just 17. Because of her experience and connections, she takes care of all the networking for me, which is such a huge help. I just need to show up, bring my energy, and look cute! It’s great to have her guidance; she really knows the ins and outs of the business. Plus, she always encourages me to be myself and have fun, which makes every experience enjoyable. I love being part of this world and learning from her! My advice to others is is find someone who is as passionate about this as you are, and who really has your best interest at heart!
