Today we’d like to introduce you to Demarcus Cook

Hi Demarcus , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Dance has always been my life, being able to express myself through movement. My journey in Dance started when I was younger. The passion for dance never left me. Starting my Dance company was always a dream to me. I created Thousands of flyers and promoted my class. Being able to offer affordable dance classes to the community. Early on in High school I realize I didn’t want to work a regular job 9-5. Starting my entrepreneur life and began to do dance classes, Make up, FITNESS TRAINER, Artist development and creative directing and from there I was able to Choreography on Bravo housewives of Atlanta doing the choreography for Kandi Burruss wedding. Starting My dance team House of Dose with over 85 Dancers. Young ladies ages 4-18 and also my adult company ages 18 and up.

Starting my twerk classes was super exciting for me. Offering Twerk Fitness classes was a way to help women have a fun way to workout, giving them back that confidence being able to have an outlet and feel sexy again. Class is Every Thursday.

I am a man of multiple hats, I truly love working. As of today my new cookbook is available Cooking in the kitchen with Mooney I also have a Body butter which is called “Taste” and “F### Me”. I’ve also had the opportunity to be on multiple TV shows such as P Valley season two, 90 days fiancé house of Chantel, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Choreographed for the Queen of Dancehall Tour “Spice”, My fabulous Phat Life on TLC, soul Train awards, the game on BET. Having an opportunity to choreograph the Love and War Tour 10 year Anniversary for Tamar Braxton, work with artist Eric Banks, Gloss Up, Jhonni Blaze, Dancer in Saucy Santana Booty Video, & More.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This Journey hasn’t been easy this journey has been one for me to learn from my mistakes being able to create being able to plan and do a lot of things by myself have taught me so many ways of being able to now understand this business and going through ups and downs learning from my mentors and guiding me in the right direction. Also realizing that alone in this journey you will lose friends but the biggest thing is being able to stay focused on what the biggest goal is and that is taking care of my parents and making sure we have the life that we need and deserve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I train Dancers in all styles such as jazz, ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, swing, we give a little salsa and of course the girls love majorette. My mission is being dedicated to what I love, while giving every dancer the opportunity to live life becoming Creative Entertainers.
My dance company is broken up into different categories I have a battle squad I have a hip-hop team and I have a technique company. Allowing all of my dancers to be able to grow in the areas they feel comfortable. I am always accepting dancers year-round ages 7-18. I am located downtown Atlanta. I like to give my girls the opportunity to see what the real dance world is like from the entertainment aspect from being able to dance on stage to go behind the camera given the multiple ranges of the dance life.
