Conversations with Tiffani Randolph

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffani Randolph.

Hi Tiffani, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a 26 year old woman born in Atlanta and raised in Conyers, Georgia. My story is a mixture of heartache, trauma, overcoming, perseverance and triumph. I’ve lived in both a single parent and traditional family household which equally came with its own challenges, attended & graduated college in the heart of a global pandemic, and am currently navigating my 20 somethings as a full-time unemployed caretaker. What would’ve stopped many, I used as a catalyst to find meaning and purpose in my testimony. Using the gifts that God blessed me with, I funneled everything through art. My first introduction to the arts was in elementary school, where I found my love for theater. By middle school, my passions turned to singing and cheerleading. High school was a conglomeration of all these things mixed with hormones and a determination to find myself. It wasn’t until I reached undergrad at the illustrious Winston-Salem State University, where I sparked a passion for film media.

Since then, entertainment, marketing and the arts have fueled my very being since I can remember. I am usually somewhere forming my next fashion statement, crafting a freelance blog article about my recent revelation, editing my next Instagram reel, or strategizing branding ideas for my clients. I am blessed to be a multitalented individual but film and entrepreneurship are two things that I eventually want to master. In short-terms, I want to begin formulating and actualizing my own ideas of film- be that writing or directing. My long-term goal is to leave an impact. One that disrupts the media, expresses my passion for storytelling, and empowers others to do the same.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Truthfully, if the road was smooth, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. As a believer in Christ, I aim to look at everything– trials and triumphs, as part of the life God is crafting for me. But as inspiring as that is to read, I still struggle with living out the faith. Over the years, my family has endured many unexplainable things. Not to mention being a full-time caretaker of my mom who manages Lupus, Sjogren’s, and Glaucoma. Imagine you’re trying to build a life of bliss, wonder, and fulfillment but still have to center it all around those closest to you, that you love unconditionally, who equally form your support system. There is no rule book to success or guidelines for what defines it. Through this lens, I have had to learn a few things: 1) sometimes balance looks different everyday, 2) God’s love does not promise no disappointment, 3) rest is a necessary reset 4) worship God 5) leave it all on the floor, like it’s your last time.

I recognise that without a great support system, none of what I’ve accomplished or the dreams I aspire to fulfill would be possible. Though the struggles may come, it is a beautiful feeling that I don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a passionate artist and visionary. I consider myself a Multimedia Maven and Content Creator known for my many talents and bold expressions. I have unofficially launched my freelance marketing services where I am currently adding clients to my roster. I specialize in digital marketing and social media strategy.

In addition to that, I am continuously making a name for myself in the film industry. I am an actress, assistant director, and writer. When I’m not conceptualizing the next summer roll-out plan for one of my clients, you can catch me behind the lens or standing in front of it.

I am most proud of my tenacious spirit. I may be a bit dramatic when things hit the fan, but nothing keeps me down for long. My light shines bright not by force but the God that is within me. I am set apart because he calls me to be. I am hand picked and chosen to walk this life of purpose, on purpose. My goal is to never forget that.

What makes you happy?
I believe that happiness is fleeting. But joy, that is the real heart posture. I choose joy everyday, even when it is hard and frustrating. My joy is found in the things we take for granted, as cliché as it sounds. Waking up and still having both my parents present and being able to move my limbs enough to hug the next person or dig my toes in the sand.
My mother often says, “life isn’t short, it’s precious.” Choosing to be joyous is a gift because even in the tough times, you have to be rooted in hope, faith and most importantly, God. Waking up everyday means that I am still fulfilling my purpose. Who wouldn’t find a reason to smile, off the strength of knowing that?
