Hi Nancy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

Hello! My name is Nancy, and I welcome you to my company, Luxe CrystalWorks! I intuitively create Bracelets, Necklaces, hand-knotted Malas and Rosaries using a collection of over 130 individual stones and growing (if you know, you know)! Nothing makes my heart happier than knowing my creations and collaborations inspire the lovely people who wear and commission them. Every piece I create embodies curiosity, conscience, and a deep-rooted love for the crystal world and how it can assist us in our daily lives.

How did I get started? It was around 1975 or so when my sweet Aunt Mary gifted me a box of crystals that included Tiger’s Eye, Pyrite and a few others. I was only 5 years old at the time, but I felt (and remembered) a whole new world open up. I marveled at their mysticism and how grounded and peaceful I felt when I held them. Being a Taurus, connecting to the Earth and appreciating her beauty is very important to me. Fast forward more than a few decades, and here I am working with those same treasures from my childhood. I necessarily don’t understand how I do what I do, but I truly believe that every piece of my jewelry finds its person…exactly when they need it most. For that I am most humbled and grateful.

So, “what can I create for you” is not only my tagline, it’s how I perceive what you didn’t know you needed!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Creating jewelry is not for the faint of heart!
As an artist, you pour your heart and soul into each piece, hoping that it will be well received. Sometimes it is, and sometimes it is not. Am I pricing my items too high or too low? Do I have too much stock? Do I need more beads? (the answer is always YES)! Do I need a website or is FB/IG good enough? What about local Markets? Oh, I could go on and on!

The Challenge is: Am I confident enough to put myself out there? The answer is always YES! Because you are unique and needed.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What do I specialize in? Crystal beaded jewelry….Bracelets, Necklaces, hand-knotted Malas and Rosaries. The newest addition to my collection are crystal hat bands! I’m known for having the jewelry you didn’t know you needed. I also create a little gift bag that contains information cards of the crystals I’ve used in the piece. Customers love them and it really helps them make an informed decision if torn between a few different pieces.

What am I most proud of? When someone comes to me for a Custom piece. I gather basic information: what Intention do you want; preferred colors; things like that. Then, my intuition takes over and I create something magical. It’s a true collaboration with the Client. I’m not happy until we both are.

What sets me apart from others? No one can make the jewelry I make. I don’t say that boastfully, but rather humbly. Because it’s mine…my intuition, my interpretation, my heart and soul poured into each beautiful piece.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
That’s a great question. Where is the Jewelry Industry headed in the next 5-10 years? I believe it’s like the Beauty Industry, recession-proof. People will always buy jewelry and beauty. Maybe not the very expensive items, but treating themselves to a new bracelet or lipstick makes us feel special, beautiful and attainable.
I’m so excited to see where Luxe CrystalWorks will be in that timeframe!
