Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Wright.

Hi Christopher, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started rapping around 2020 but just for fun. My brother is as my only fan at the time and he constantly would tell me I should try taking rap seriously. But at the time I was in college playing basketball so that was my main focus. Unfortunately I switch schools and went to Georgia state university. I wasn’t able to play because I didn’t have a 3.0 gpa. I wasn’t able to walk on. Fast forward one day in class one of my friends said to me “yo twin you look like a rapper” and I told him I rapped but just for fun. He told me to take it serious this was in 2022. So I did and now I’m here getting interviewed.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not easy at all, well the rapping itself was but like I said my only support was from my brother and sister at the time. My parents didn’t really like the things I was saying in my music and thought me rapping was just a hobby. Fast forward to fall 2023 I feel into a deep depression and deleted all my music, But through the grace of God I overcame it. I would then go on to drop my first tape since deleting all my music titled “praise”.
This was my biggest obstacle music wise. Like I said music is just natural to me. Making music has never been a problem for me. This is how I talk about my feelings and get what’s off my chest.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I work at ups part time, but to be honest I hate the job. I have to wake up dummy early like 3 – 4 o’clock in the morning. But I mean it pays so I guess it’s cool.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I’ve always been out going and super energetic. My mom put me and my sibling in extra curricular activities like singing lessons and I took drum lessons.
