Meet Reginald Greene II of Downtown Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reginald Greene II.

Hi Reginald, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in 1993 at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. My parents, Reginald Greene Sr., a New York native from Brooklyn, and Cacilla Gibson-Greene, a Georgia native from Columbus, met at Howard University, and both went on to graduate from Howard University School of Law. Their commitment to justice would one day shape my own path, though not in the way I initially expected.

My childhood was a journey in itself. As my parents sought the best environment to raise my two younger siblings and I, we moved often, living in Washington D.C., Missouri, New York, and New Jersey before finally settling in Georgia. Between first and twelfth grade, I attended eight different schools. At the time, it felt disruptive and exhausting, but in hindsight, it prepared me for life. I learned how to adapt quickly, find my footing in unfamiliar places, and remain grounded in the face of constant change.

Growing up with two attorneys as parents came with high expectations, especially when it came to academics. From an early age, I was taught the value of education, discipline, hard work, paying attention to detail, and most importantly, faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While law surrounded me at home, my childhood dream was to become a doctor. I was drawn to medicine, fascinated by the human mind and body, and determined to make a difference in people’s lives.

Following that dream, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Georgia State University. However, after graduation, I began working at my father’s law firm, Greene Legal Group LLC (The Super Lawyer), as a paralegal while studying for the MCAT. That’s when everything changed.

Immersed in the world of personal injury law, I found myself deeply moved by the stories of our clients, people whose lives had been upended by accidents, injuries, and loss. As I saw how insurance companies often dismissed and devalued their pain and suffering, I developed a passion for standing up and fighting for them. What started as a job became a calling.

In my second year as a paralegal, I made a pivotal decision: I chose law school over medical school. I took the LSAT, was accepted into Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, and received a scholarship. After graduating, I passed the Georgia Bar Exam on my first attempt, then went on to pass the 41-state Uniform Bar Exam in South Carolina, also on my first try.

Today, I fight every day to ensure our clients receive the maximum compensation they deserve, handling car accidents, truck accidents, and slip-and-fall cases with the same tenacity and care that inspired me to help others in the first place.

My journey may have taken an unexpected turn, but in the courtroom, as in life, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Following in my father’s footsteps at Greene Legal Group LLC (The Super Lawyer), gave me a strong foundation. I had a clear vision and a powerful example to look up to. In that sense, the road was laid with purpose. But the journey to becoming my own version of an attorney, husband, and now a father has come with its fair share of challenges.

Balancing the demands of law school, building a career, and nurturing a young family required resilience, effective time management, and significant personal growth. The last few years have been smoother than expected, and I’m grateful for the momentum, but I’m also aware that growth doesn’t come without pressure. I’m embracing the journey and looking forward to what the future holds, both personally and professionally, because I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an attorney who is passionate about advocating for people who have been injured or wronged. I specialize in personal injury law, specifically car accidents, truck accidents, slip-and-falls, and wrongful death cases. My goal is always to help clients recover the compensation and peace of mind they deserve.

Being part of The Super Lawyer® legacy, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from one of the best — my father, Reginald Greene Sr. But I also bring my own voice, style, and commitment to the work. I’m known for being personable, responsive, and results-driven. Clients appreciate that I explain things in a way they can understand and that I truly care about their outcome, not just the case, but their overall recovery.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend legal precision with genuine empathy. I’m proud to be part of a new generation of attorneys who are modernizing the client experience while still honoring the fundamentals of integrity and excellence. I don’t just want to win cases — I want people to walk away feeling heard, respected, and confident that they chose the right team to stand by them.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is of a trip to Universal Studios with my cousins, who have always felt more like siblings to me. We were inseparable growing up, close in age and even closer at heart, spending countless hours together that shaped our bond. That trip was pure joy, laughter, and adventure, which we still talk about to this day. Even now, as adults, our connection remains just as strong, rooted in moments like that one.
