Meet Kristen Carbone of SubRosa Medspa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Carbone.

Hi Kristen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have lived everywhere in this career journey from Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, vail, denver, Raleigh, Charlotte, and now reside in Atlanta. I have worked for multiple renowned plastic surgeons, and moved to Atlanta to pursue a role in aesthetic laser sales for multiple years for one of the top aesthetic laser companies in the world. This year I made the leap to open my own state art med spa that offers an experience that combines luxury with my own brand of music inspiration and enchantment in every detail throughout with the best team beside me to support my dream.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been mostly smooth but there are setbacks just like any other new business that is opened. We were very lucky to only face some minor ones in the beginning and we have worked very hard to get everything sorted out. I have such great employees here that truly care about this business as much as I do which has really helped in getting us to where we are now and where we want to be in the future.

As you know, we’re big fans of SubRosa Medspa. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At SubRosa Medspa we focus on what really matters, the patient’s goals long and short term. We want to be known for our discretion with your services, while helping you attain your aesthetic desires in a way that suits each individual lifestyle. What sets us apart is our staff and atmosphere. I truly believe that my staff is different than anywhere else. Everyone is at the top of their game and always eager to learn more to perfect their craft. We are all so excited to be here everyday delivering undeniable results in the most beautiful Medspa setting you will find in all of Georgia. I was meticulous with how I designed this place and made sure every detail was taken into consideration. Even the rooms being named after female musicians instead of being your typical “room one, two, three…” is not something seen in any other Medspa. We are a full service Medspa with the top of the line devices and products to deliver innovative treatments and results not offered anywhere else.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I would be remiss not to mention Candace Parks, the woman that helped bring my design vision to life! A genius in interior design and truly one of the most talented and warm hearted people you will ever meet. I also need to mention my family, as I come from a long line of hard workers and entrepreneurs. My dad is one of the smartest businessmen I know and helped get this dream off the ground. My mom has also always been supportive of me no matter what crazy idea I have come up with. Without them I would not be here today, that’s for sure. I’m so lucky.
